Winter Doldrums

Between freezing temperatures and a very sick little girl, we've got a little bit of cabin fever going on over here.

I even dragged my poor, listless little girl to IKEA yesterday so I wouldn't lose my mind. I rewarded her patience with an ice cream cone. Her main symptom is a horrifying cough, which she let loose in the eating area. She sounded like her lungs were about to pop out, which was totally embarrassing. If I had been one of the other moms there, I totally would have judged me for bringing such a sick child out into public.

Luckily, even when she's sick, she's still bursting with personality. Lately, she insists on calling me "Mister Sir." I don't know where it came from, but I think it's awesome.

January is the WORST.

Sometimes Elsa just says "I need my Bria." We'll have to have her over soon.

I'm sorry Bria isn't feeling well; being sick is awful. At least she sounds like a pretty good sport. I hope things are back to normal soon!

Oh, I know that cough. Lena usually holds on to the cough forever, which is a sign of an ear infection. She would sometimes have an ear infection w little to no pain and no fever. If it last a long time I would go get her checked. So sorry. xo

I am going to die of cabin fever too. Ahhhh.
